Training Courses

This is an introduction to handguns designed for students with no previous shooting experience. The class consists of [  ] hours of classroom training and [  ] hour of range time for actual shooting. Students will learn the basics of handguns including:

• Gun safety rules
• Identifying key parts (and function) of handguns
• Loading/unloading
• Grip
• Stance
• Sight alignment/Sight picture
• Trigger pull

NC Concealed Carry Handgun Course

Requirement: Age 21+

This is the class required by North Carolina to obtain the Concealed Carry Handgun Permit. You will learn the laws for carrying concealed handguns and review shooting fundamentals including grip, stance and sight alignment.

**Please Note: This is not designed as a beginner course. If you are looking for a class for brand-new shooters, consider our  Give It A Shot Course before registering for Concealed Carry Handgun course.

Requirement: Must be a previous D2k2 Tactical Student

​ Need help fine tuning your shooting? This class is designed for you. In this 1 on 1 range session, you will get individual instruction from an NRA certified instructor. One hour session includes range fee, targets and safety equipment. Ammo and gun rental not included.
